The Stuart team was engaged by The First Montgomery Group to create a transit oriented community adjacent to the Woodcrest PATCO Station in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The 33 acre site was formally utilized for industrial and shipping purposes
until its purchase and subsequent demolition in 2015.
Working hand-in-hand with the client our team planned out 5 buildings, on 19 acres, totaling 370 apartment units. The neotraditional layout is focused on a streetscape network, and buildings, who front onto a common “central green”, incorporating a clubhouse, pool, grass play field, outdoor dining, and relaxation areas. In order to create a truly unique mixed use community, 14 acres of the site were preserved for future development with retail, office, commercial and retail opportunities all being considered.
Currently the plan is in the township approval process, and a start date for construction has not be established.
